I am glad today...for the old people on the road. If we can dismiss the annoyance of it we will see that the old people are (sometimes) doing us a favor. They are forcing us to slow down, calm down and enjoy the drive....you have to let it happen.

I am glad today...for online amenities, specifically, easy butternut squash recipes and 24/7 ask a Librarian help.

I am glad today.....for the existence of Raid. I am afraid of almost all bugs and just a few minutes ago I saw a very, very large ear wig on the living room wall. Problem solved effortlessly thanks to Raid.

Today I am Glad because... my dog is house broken, and has been for quite some time. Even though her whining can get annoying when I am in the middle of something I would rather stop what I'm doing for just a moment, than to clean up her no... my yucky mess.

Braiden is small but one hell of a fighter.
Born jaundice and with an infection he will pull through and be just fine. Mom is doing well, even with the lack of sleep. Both should be home soon.

APA

I am very excited today! I just submitted my application to join the American Psychological Association! With my year membership I will enjoy a year subscription to Journal of Family Psychology and Journal of Experimental Psychology:Applied. Both journals are of my choice and will further my interested and knowledge in the specific field I am interested.
By being a member of the APA I will benefit in the following ways...

1. Student loan consolidation
2. Career Services
3. Discount on Computer and electronics and other goods
4. Advocacy programs
5. Informational Resources (online data bases etc.)
6. Networking
7. Not to mention it looks great on a Resume (for a job and Graduate school)

So I will wait and pray that my application gets accepted. As you can see, regardless of the cost, this is a great opportunity for me.

I am very hopeful for the future but a little extra prayers couldn't hurt.
