All good things must come to an end, even if the end seems too early. I want to thank anyone who supported us during this adventure. I have gained so much from this spiritual journey. I am now closer to the Lord and have the knowledge to cook meals that taste awesome and do not contain meat.
I know we are falling one day short but I am sure we will be forgiven. Jeremey and I decided to take advantage of his long weekend and go camping. All I have to say is... What is camping with out hot dogs and smores? Therefore, we are breaking the fast a day early.
What we have learned both spiritually and physically will not be forgotten but yet played out in your lives daily.

Day Three
Breakfast 9:30 am
1 bowl of Flax Cereal
Soy milk

1 pear
1 slice of wheat bread- to dip in the bland soup

small salad
1/4 cup of almonds
1 glass of Melony's fruit concoction
3/4 cup of beans over 1/3 cup rice- peas, chickpea and lentil
5 steamed asparagus
I must say that this diner was difficult. I learned that I am not good at mixing beans. To be honest, I cried over dinner. It was so bad...almost uneatable. As I reluctantly ate, I kept saying to myself "I don't want to do this anymore.. no more". I think the breaking point was when I stuffed 5 raisins into my mouth like a child with candy or like a coke addict getting their fix.
Happy to announce that I have regained faith in myself and the strength to continue. All because God whispered to me... "tomorrow, make spaghetti".
It is not the fast that is hard, it is the figuring out how to make the same thing over and over again without getting sick at the very sight.

Daniels Fast Day one
Jeremey and I are participating in the "Daniel's Fast" With our church, East Coast Christian.
We are both doing it for different reasons, I'm sure, but none the less ending for the same cause.
The hardest part for me in this adventure I think will be the lack of snacking. Although I do Love, and I mean LOVE, my meat I still believe that not having that afternoon or evening snack will be the hardest.
What will make this manageable is ONE my love for the Lord and the trust I have within Him and TWO I am not alone, Jeremey and I are both taking on the endeavor. I believe that this will not only bring us closer to God but also each other.
I love you Jeremey.
So here we go...
Breakfast 9:30 am
1 (small) bowl of Pumpkin Flax Cereal (it's actually really good)
1 cup of Soy Milk
Lunch 1:00 pm
1 Bruschetta Boca Burger on wheat bread- ketchup, pickle and baby spinach
1/2 cup of Yuca- seasoned with salt pepper and lemon juice
and way too many Brussels sprouts (will NEVER buy again Yuck-a)
and a glass of juice
Dinner 7:00 pm
1 large salad with ever veggie imaginable on it- red/yellow peppers, broccoli, onion, portabella mushroom, cauliflower, cucumber, spinach, baby carrots that's all I can think of now
with 1/4 cup of raspberry Merlot vinaigrette dressing
1/4 cup of almonds
and a glass of Jeremey's smoothie concoction (fruit and stuff)
Late night snack
A glass of green tea- NO honey :(
